T1 should cover the bandwidth shouldnt it? say about 20 clients to start off

does Center V2 require the dispatch server? or can i buy just the center app and have my clients connect directly?

as you can tell i dont have any expierence with these 2 apps but i know the geo system in and out, looking for help here

CenterV will be used to record the audio/video

I am starting on a machine that will remotely monitor and record my clients camera systems, jus in case of theft of the actually system they can always come back to me and say hey i just got robbed the guy took my camera system with him and i can pull up info and send it to the police, this machine will also be used for Remote Storage for clients who wish to store more days of video, we will also be doing remote monitoring for alarm incidents. Any know the system requirements for CenterV and any comments would be excellent.

Specs I'm thinking of

-Dual Xenon 3 GHZ/ea

-2 gigs ram

-256Mb video card

-DVD-R

- 4 swappable 400 Gig Hard drives

- 1 internal 20 Gig HD 10,000 Rpm

I had the same exact problem about 3 years ago, what type of Mux/DVR are you using i had a dedicated micros color mux and had the same problem but when i switched to a different mux all worked fine i spent days trying to figure it out.

ok i just installed PTZ on a geo system for the first time today, works excellent at location but wen i connect to the webcam i cant use any PTZ functions i did click the little on button and it turns on but doesnt allow me to do ne thing the numbers 999 show up in the black box next to the tabs.

any help would be appreciated.

Intallers what are you doing with the power button on these PC based units do you leave them operaiting or hide them, if so what ideas for hiding the buttons do you have.

with the geovision system if i have two 300 gig HD's do i need to use a raid controller or will the geovision software write to both HD's?

comments on this model would be very helpfull, camera quality and picture quality

yes i have the drives and also i cant find a 600 gig HD

any idea where to find a cheap RAID 0 card for a ata100 hd? also a model number would be helpful

is it possible to combine 2 ATA100 HD's to make it look like one, example: two 300 gig hd's will show up as 600 gig on C: drive. if so what would i need to do?

got it i replaced my autoexec file with a backup one i found on my hdd

the file is empty wen i open with NP

its an install file for Dedicated Micros Network Viewer, it is an EXE file

ok im running windows XP Pro SP2 and any time i try to install any type of playback software for any system i get this error

digimerge good product not the best but good i am a reseller of digimerge one of my lower end units but i will not sell garbage systems

does geovision support PTZ with bosch/bi-phase?

so what dell model do you suggest? i was going to use a dimmension and reformat it.

i wish i could find emmbedded XP it would make for a great selling point and much better security.
