  1. Just got a new touch trakker from another store and when i plug it into my system it says r1 at the top right of the screen. Won't move my cameras or even allow me to get to the menu.

the model for the controller is RCTTRKE

I use a sensormatic jbox, connected to an eim box, which connects to the multiplexor and controller.

Any ideas? Is it locked or something? Is there a way to restore to factory default?

  2. hmm. It says i can have up to six cameras in the Jbox installation box. Currently I have 8. But I remember this camera being somewhat unresponsive when I had only three cameras connected to the box.

Would you happen to know if you can run two boxes with one system? I'm thinking the AUX plug for the controller might be connected to another Jbox and then connected to the controller.

  3. Been putting a lot of time into my camera system. had a camera that didn't seem to respond. it was a sensormatic speeddome series. the majority of my cameras are sensormatic ultra domes. they are all running on Snet protocol through a jbox, model JB-Snet.

The speeddome was giving me issues. its wasn't always working, would reset, not respond, and then somedays would be totally fine. finally it stopped working so i pulled it and tested it in my office and it started working again. I double checked that it was set for SNET protocol as well. I decided to replace it with a ultra dome and see if that camera would have the same issue. It worked fine for a while and then it started to act up. presets won't work, i can't reset the dome from the touch track controller like i used to. it now points to the floor and slowly spins. I went though the ceiling and tried to make sure the line was solid but its a long run.

anyone have any ideas? Could it be signal degradation? I'm at a loss to figure this out.

  4. I have a ptz that i aquired from ebay for my system at work. unfortunately the seller doesn't have the male plug for the data cable that connects into the board on the camera.

here's the camera the data input is on the left

anyone know where i could pick up one of these?

  5.

Sennetech makes converters for various type of domes vs. matrix switch protocols... I will not recommend it yet...

Dependent which Sensormatic switch that you may have, there is a fairly good chance that you can control GE Cyberdomes... and without any converters....

I think its called the ADTTE touch tracker controller. Its black with a small blue joystick button between the zoom and focus buttons

  6. thanks!

    another question,

I recently purchased a second EIM box and touch tracker and read up on how to hook this up as a secondary controller.

The back of the multiplexer has a main monitor output and a call monitor output.

will the main output show a multiplex view and the call up respond to the camera selection?

  7. Hello

I run a sensormatic system at my business with a nine channel sensormatic multiplexer. I have several speed domes which connect to a j-box that connects to an EIM box to my ADTTE controller. The EIM also runs to my multiplexer.

I recently purchased a sixteen channel Robot multiplexer. It has the remote input on the back. Will this work with my system if I substitute it for the 9 channel sensormatic one?
