channels 1-8 are analog only (via BNC) and 9-16 are IP cams..
tried moving it around to 10-12 etc... no result..

Yes they did... there was a power outage and since then.. problems...
ip cameras are connected via router, with mac binding to specific ip's

Just BNC, no rj45 except for the one going to the router.
it's happening to me with all kinds of cameras, reolink, techage everytime it's a different one... not the same channel.

because 8 is an analog channel... cant use it with ip cameras...
no options or config. when i click/hover

it's an IP cam.. trying moving it to other channels.. nothing...
and yes it's a hybrid.. can't move it to 8 as it's analog..

Ok.. So i got myself a new hybrid NVR/DVR (8 analog 8 ip cams) and i have a question.
Can the ip camera connect to my router, and then the NVR can connect to that camera via the router? (both ONVIF compatible). or do i HAVE to connect the ip camera to the NVR directly?
to simplify my question :
IP CAMERA --> ROUTER --> NVR?
possible? if so, how? i need them in the same ip range?
thanks alot!
Noob
can someone tell me what does this mean?

First thank you for your help....
ok..
1) I can see the camera via yoosee app, camera was added by the software, the NVR can also "see" it in the list but it wont connect (showing what i have shown you)
2) recorder got 16 bnc inputs incase i need it as a dvr only
3) ranging between 2mp to 5mp depending on the position.. so far 5 cameras, but since i moved from no-brand 30$ cameras to reolink i get better results..
thanks again
