mjs812 0 Posted March 17, 2008 I've been doing a lot of looking around and all dvr cards, from higher priced to the cheap ones, seem to require intel chipsets. Is that more a recomendation. DVR manufactures market thier product to a specific group of PC's users. why do you think Mac is not widely used in the CCTV business? Because it's not owned by a majority of users. If you built the BEST mac DVR card you'd sell very little since everything is more common to Microsoft/Intel based systems. I've had hard core Mac users lift thier noses at me just because I would not do a Mac DVR solution.
