It's weird because he obviously knows little about cctv systems, what they do, how much they cost, how they are being used. Nevertheless, every so often he bashes CCTV. He did it again this week and I felt the need to respond: http://ipvideomarket.info/review/show/139 Thought you might be interested. What do you guys think of Schneier's arguments? rory 0 Posted July 2, 2008 Computer Security and Physical Security are 2 totally different things. I dont see where he has any experience in our side of it. I like the fact that you showed the total cost of hiring a police officer vs the cost of installing a full cctv system as well, that just goes to show you the overall value of a cctv system. Also keep this in mind with police officers vs. cctv systems... CCTV Cameras cannot be bribed... Don't fall asleep at the job... Work 24/7 and don't get paid overtime...
