Problem with camera "pulsing" light

Recommended Posts

I am using a Sony Exwave DC54A to broadcast some baseball games and for CCTV. I am having a problem with the camera "pulsing" the light high/low slighting every few seconds it goes brighter/darker.

Can't attach spec sheet or include website because of forum rules and here is how you can find:

Go to Universal Sales, Products > Standard Cameras, click on the DC54A and there is a spec sheet pdf you can look at.

Is this always or only during broad daylight? Could be some different things. One of them can be tthat you should adjust the iris opening alittle so that it does not get to much light into it. I have seen some cams that have had this problem and this has fixed it for some and some not...

hello,

this usually happens when there are multiple light showers specially when the lights are concealed in the false ceiling, try using an AUTO IRIS Lens .and if you are already using AUTO Iris lens as our friend has suggested, the only solution to this problem is using a manual iris lens and narrowing the iris opening to the extent it stops breathing
