paranoid 0 Posted May 28, 2009 Hi all, Ive got my nv5000 running on a server system now and its all pretty good after some trouble with the aver auto driver install. I have no soundcard or onboard sound, but it still records audio from the cams which is fine for remote, backup and playback on another system, so no probs there. What I would like to do is get the pc speaker to beep for motion detection warning in the alarm setting but cant work out how. There is an official microsoft driver for 95,98 and m.e. but sadly none for xp due to its lack of integration with dos. The annoying thing is that the aver dvr software will make the pc speaker beep if i type my password wrong but I cannot get it to beep for an alarm detection. Its probably not possible but thought I would ask. On a different note, its great to have motion detection with masking again. Such an important feature which is still sadly missing from the standalone dvr's. Thanks Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
