Speco or Everfocus to meet client needs

I'm replacing a Everfocus EDSR4000H with an 8 channel DVR.

 

I was looking at the ECOR8F250, but it does not work via remote with Mac computers.

 

I found the Speco DVR8TL160 that does work with Mac.

 

My main needs are pc/mac compatibility

Ability to view screens in different split screen configs

Ability to control individual cam picture settings

 

Any of you have thoughts on these or perhaps other DVR manufacturers?
