Geovision v8.3 multiview layout problem

I am setting up a pc-based dvr that is GV-1480 and Geovision v8.3 and cannot get the default multiview layout to stay on the 6-channel view. I select the 6-channel view, exit the software, re-open, and the layout returns to the 16-channel view every time. Is there somewhere else you select the default view? All equipment is brand new.

There is no default button for 6 channel video in the V8.32 version multiview.

 

Once insidie the multiview, go to "CONFIGURE" (the Hammer and Screwdriver icon besides viewlog) and you will see the startup initial screen. It has 4, 8, 16 and 32 channels dividion only as default.

Thanks for your reply. I have a correction to make. I'm using version 8.3.1 and I do not have a startup initial screen option when I go into Configure.
