AVTECH 761 /785/787 and SATA hard discs with converters

Recommended Posts

hi good day to everyone, i have encountered problems on the IDE AVTECH DVRs using SATA hard drives with converters.

the AVTECH dvrs are IDE( the older ones) then when i installed a SATA hard drive with a converter they would work for a while then hang-up and display the "NO HDD" word on the screen.

is there any remedy to this problem? i wish to re-use the old AVTECH DVR

Thanks in advance

don't forget IDE hardrives are still available. i have no idea what the size limit is on those DVR's.

the only thing i can suggest is go find a ide-sata converter that supports SMART.
