rossibufc 0 Posted May 5, 2010 I have just installed 8 Mark Mercer PTZ domes for a customer and bought 2x 24v 5A 5way psu. When powerd up the cameras work fine but have lines running across centre of picture and are more visible when camera moves. I had an in line 24v 1A PSU sent by mark mercer for same tye of camera for a differant job, tried this on 1 of the cameras and cured the problem. I could be way off the mark but it looks to me that the 5A psu is getting interference off the 240V AC. Does anyone know a solution for the origional psu or will I have to get the 1A mark mercer in line psu. Only want to do this as a last resort there is 8 cameras at the minute and more to follow and in would make the installation very messy. I cannot get localised 240v at each camera as electrician on site will not do this. I have used these domes before with no problem before but this is the first time I have used these europlex psu.
