cwkamms 0 Posted May 24, 2010 Very poor video quality from a geovision gv-1480a 32channel 920fps system. I just upgraded a 16channel 480fps Eyemax NVR system (PC based). To the geovision GV-1480a 32channel systems with a very highend PC. My problem is once i switched over the cameras to the new geovision system the quality of video became extremely poor compared to the eyemax system.(thats live video) Iam lost, I maxed out everything in the geovision systems . rory 0 Posted May 24, 2010 Did you set the source to 640x480 or 720x480 (i normally use deinterlace) Does the video support direct draw overlay properly, what is the graphics adapter? Does it look blocked? (direct draw overlay issue, see above) Did you set the recording size to highest? (wont affect live though) What is the compression set to?
