Anyone plugged the PCI-E DVR card into a PCI-E x16 slot yet?

Cant seem to find a microatx card down here that has room for the card other then with the 16x slot. Anyone know if that would still work?

Works fine for the GV-1240 on a DG41RQ MB

 

Don't worry, a PCI-e 16x slot works as a 1x, a 4x and a 8x slot.

Im using Micro ATX boards .. I just tried it on a gigabyte board and apart from it being very loose as the slot is too big and it does not lock in, I got bad video quality and stuttering so I am going to switch it now for a board with a PCI-e x1 that fits the card. This mobo was orderd before i realized the DVR card would not fit as the PCI-e x1 card will go over the memory.

 

So basically it seems to does work, somewhat, how well it works must depend on the motherboard perhaps.
