TNTCCTV 0 Posted December 2, 2010 Was in the business for a couple of years until I was layed off, with a "Non-Compete Clause. (2 years/200 miles" ) Now that time period has passed and I'm allowed to do as I wish. Anyway , some of the old customers have contacted me and would like to use me for their CCTV work. Being away from the business for 2 years, I know things have changed alot. I am hoping with this forum , I can come up to speed and solve any problems that I encounter. Thanks. Soundy 1 Posted December 2, 2010 Hmmm, hasn't really changed that much. IP is becoming more popular (and a LOT cheaper than 2 years ago). Computers are more powerful. Storage space is WAY cheaper. HDcctv is finally starting to hit the market (it was probably "RSN" when you were still working in the industry ) Technology has improved, but overall isn't all that different.
