PIR driving me mad.

Recommended Posts

Hi have a killer XDH4 (aaarrrrrrhhhhh) and the supplier is completely and totally clueless about any questions i have.

I want to connect PIR's to the DVR sensor inputs instead of relying on the camera motion detection zones.

I cannot find any details as to the exact nature of the input pins on the DVR all i found was this file.

So the question is what type of PIR should i buy,are there special DVR ones...??? im going to need to use four PIR's to cover all the yard front/rear/side these will then create the event log and switch on security lights with the cameras just monitoring.

At the moment the cameras turn the lights on during motion detection but the lights themselves re-activate the motion detection when they go out.

I also found this PIR, is this the kind i need.??

Thank You
