reset DVR KPD678 password with Hard reset

in KPD678 DVR 16ch i hear continous beep sound when HDD is connected and the DVR does not boot.

when the HDD is disconnected the DVR boots but it does not accept the default password when after a HARD RESET R155.

please give solution
