Is it possible to connect my laptop to my phone 3g service? we have a weak dial up service and no wifi and I'd like to know if I can connect my laptop to my phones 3g service. And please no immature remarks, they are very much appreciated.

Lots of phones will do it. I suggest you look up your phone model # and tether in google and you will get a quick answer.

yes you can connect your laptop with a 3G phone easily, But before that you need to install the Driver software that comes with the Phone to your laptop. the phone can also be used in other way with your system but installing the driver software will give you an easy navigation.

If you have Droid, and your laptop is wireless no problem. They have find of apps. Heads up laptops will use a lot of data so make sure you have an unlimited plan.
