Hi guys

 

I am currently using an AVTECH KPD677 - 6 of 8 channels being used, which record D1 @ 6fps.

 

Please could someone tell me if I was to upgrade to a 16ch DVR with 400fps would I also get more fps @ D1 if I am only using 6 of the 16 channels?

It all depends on the total FPS at a particular resolution your DVR can do.

 

So in your question, if a 16ch DVR can do 400FPS total at D1, that is 25FPS for each channel. If you are only doing 6 channels, you could run them at the full 30FPS.
