CnM 2 CAMERA CCTV SECURITY KIT Help Please!!!

firstly Hello! this is my first post

 

recently i purchased one of the above kits off ebay, everything was working fine untill i foolishly decided to reset the admin password to a different 6 digit number now the system wont let me logon with either the default admin password or the one i set it to ive done a fair bit of google/youtube/forum searching and dont seem to be getting anywhere, i have tried numerous other default passwords, ive tried removing the battery from within the DVR to hopefully reset the memory etc

 

does anyone know of a way i can just reset the unit to default so i can get access to it again???

if you open the system there generally is a reset on the dvr pcb board. if not there will be 3 prongs or two short them out when system is on this will reset the dvr to factory. Alternatively there may be a cmos battery if so take it out restart dvr then switch off, insert cmos battery and hopefully then will erase the current password and then try your main password again.
