Email notification of motion detection

I am having difficulty making my "motion detected" email notification work. The software I'm using on my stand alone dvr is Web Client for EDVs/EDVR. I am including a screen shot and can post the manual if needed.

Do I need to set up some other service to use the email feature such as those at dyndns.org??

Does the port shown "6050" have to be open on my router?

Try SMTP port 465
