cctv on the farm

Recommended Posts

I raise rodents commercially to sell for pets. I would like to be able to monitor their breeding. Right now I have to wait for a female to give birth, before I know that she was mated. (beleive it or not, the don't all 'breed like rabbits')

I thought i could install a cctv camera to record activity, but I can't find any information about using cctv in this type of setting. Cany anyone help? or send me someplace where I can do my own research?

Thanks

John

thanks for that. As alot of the monitoring will have to be at night, will IR work? And what are the recording limitations for that type of light? Do the standard cameras produce better images than bullets?

Unless you want to record on conventional tape, you'll have to get a DVR. The cameras are easily used with any DVR. I would post a message in the DVR forum here.
