Do i have a CCTV?

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone, i recently got a TV from a tenant that was moving out and i'm not sure if its a CCTV or a regular one. Its a MAXX Digital MXLC15 (15 inch) LCD TV. It doesn't have Channel +/- button and instead Prog +/-

It says it needs "DC IN" at the back for the power.

It didn't come with a power supply so i had to get another one.

It says its Power Input: 12 V 40 W

It accepts a DC Adapter. But i'm not sure at what Amps...

I made a post at another forum:

Thank you very much for any help

i looked up your other thread. honestly, a 3a adapter would probably be okay in the long run - 40w *max* doesn't mean it runs at the max all the time. but since you found a more appropriate one, it's all good.
