davesatellitelink 0 Posted April 16, 2013 When I try to open my DVR - It doesnt have any USERNAME listed in the login form; so everytime i log in Authentication error. I've tried to reset the using a jumper on the board of the DVR using TP6 and TP5 by short circuiting it. IT doesnt work as well. What shall i do? Help... ron352 0 Posted April 21, 2013 I just shorted one of my DVRs across TP5 TP6 and how you need to do the short is power down. Put a paper clip or some type small wire or very small needlenose tip plyers to short out these 2 posts. Once you have a good short, keep it there. Turn on the DVR and at the FIRST short beep on booting, release the short and it should reset to factory. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
