Watching DVR through Web Service v2.0

Hi all,

I would like to know if I can watch remotely any kind of DVR using Web Service v2.0 (webrec.cab) by configuring it ?

I read that on some DVRs there is an option of "Web Service" in Network Settings, is that a common option that I can use for all DVRs?

I was told also that to aloow access using Web Service v2.0 I need to forward the IP to a specific port, is that true and if yes which port/s?
