Honeywell HRDP Email Configuration Help

1st post, a virgin! Anyway, try as I might I can't seem to get my Honeywell HRDP8D50 to send an E-mail alert. It's probably something basic but I don't see it and the set up directions assume too much. The last time I called the company who installed it I got little help and Honeywell only deals with dealers.

 

It's on a small office network with Internet connectivity. I can access the system from anywhere inside or outside my office through a network or on my iPhone. So what am I missing?

OK, here is what I don't understand.

 

The HRDP set-up menu requires the configuration of the E-Mail server. I'm assuming that would be the embedded outbound SMTP server. The configuration requires input for:

 

E-Mail Server: (I'm assuming this is "SMTP SERVER")

User Name: (Is this the user name for the DVR?)

User E-mail: (Is this the E-mail account I'm sending to?)

Server: (Is this the SMTP server I use with my provider?)

Port: (Is this the port of my SMTP server or in-coming mail server?)

ID: (Is this my DVR ID or my mail server ID?)

Password: (Is this my DVR password or my mail password?)

 

Then after configuring the server I need to enter another e-mail address! Is this the e-mail address I'm sending to or do I leave it as listed which is some other mail server out there?

 

I'm getting closer and can probably make it work with much trial an error but a little help won't hurt.
