toolman67 0 Posted July 13, 2013 we are using a Dahua Dvr , in addition to onboard recording we wanna record off site too, on own network LAN onto another computer HDD or USB HDD is it the same as FTP, but a little leery of setting it up .... can you give me some instruction on how to accomplish this or point me to any other place in this forum where the query is already answered THANKS IN ADVANCE regds Toolman67 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

toolman67 0 Posted July 14, 2013 hi thnks fr the reply it IS the generic model for Dahua Dvr LS series , and it has a page FOR FTP setup., but how to use it ? I want it to record simultaneously . Onboard HDD as well as off site to another usb HDD OR COMPUTER on our Lan network the idea is in case the dvr is hacked /tampered with our the HDD fails or is erased we can have a mirror of the data on the off site HDD ....
