Well this PC Setup work with a Geovision GV1480?

I've got a computer gathering dust and i was wondering if it would be compatible with the Geovision 1480? Everything I read recommends an Intel board, so I just want to get some veterans opinions.

AMD Opteron 244 SledgeHammer 800MHz FSB

2GB of DDR400 RAM

 

I just need a new video card and a huge HD

 

16 camera setup

What is the chipset on the motherboard that you want to use?

Sorry about that I need to read first. You can always try it and test run and see if you have any problems. Just avoid VIA chipsets

with the GEO cards.
