mav 0 Posted October 11, 2013 Well, in my infinite wisdom and ever searching need to protect network devices from non-existent outside peeping Toms, I changed the passwords on my Swann and Lorex IP cameras (using BlueIris, not the Lorex DVR). It's just been just long enough (30 seconds for me usually) that I can't remember what I was thinking when I came up with the password. Is there a way to hard reset the camera (esp remotely since otherwise I've got some ladder climbing to do)? I'm hoping the password is going to come to me in a moment of divine insight... buellwinkle 0 Posted October 11, 2013 It's real easy to do. Find the camera with the SADP software, send the serial number to Lorex or Swann support and enter the password recovery code that Swann or Lorex support will provide you.
