Hikvision Chinese 5.1.6 Freedom of upgrade Firmware to EN

Hey, everybody.

 

I get a DS-2CD2032-I Chinese Version 5.16, Produced after the 2014.4.23.

 

This Version is freedom of upgrade firmware.

 

I get firmware from HIKVISION USA http://www.hikvision.com/en/us/download_more.asp?id=1354

 

And Upgrade success. NO NEED TFTP OR FTP.

 

It will be Multi-language finally

The issue for us is the language. Its Chinese, there is no English drop down menu.

After Upgrade, it is Multi-language.

That's not magic, it's putting the older 5.1.0 firmware over the 5.1.6 firmware that comes with the camera.

Where do you find the Chinese firmwares?. I cant find the server.

 

I have a Chinese camera i want to update. The firmwares from the US and European servers just give me the below error:
