scratch1676 0 Posted June 9, 2014 I have some ip camera's that are going to need fiber run to them. Has anyone used the signamax converters in a weatherproof cantex box out in the sun. I am worried those converters are going to get hot in the box and quit working. Thought I might ask and see if anyone here might have some installs with these in a similar situation. scratch1676 0 Posted June 9, 2014 how long have they been in the field? My setup will require outdoor on a telephone pole. The setup currently there is two ip cameras on each pole mounted about 2 feet below a streetlight into a poe bridge and then the bridge hooked into a outdoor router (setup as client bridge) and that connects wirelessly to a main router about 600 feet away.
