Analog PTZ to IP with a trendnet encoder ....?

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone could help me please..? I have just taken over a property that the previous owner had an analog PTZ camera installed. He streamed the output on a website, via an old pc with a video card, and controlled the camera via wired remotes.

This is all very new to me, so excuse me if i'm asking the impossible.... I would like to achieve in the end result, to convert this camera to IP so i can control it remotely via a PC over ethernet, and also stream to a video hosting website.

Through my research so far, i found this -

Is this what i need to do the job..? And how would i go about wiring it so the pan PTZ works too, I really don't have a clue about the protocols etc, and i can't seem to find a local engineer that could help me with this...

Any help or advise would be much appreciated.....

Thanks,

Sam
