DS-2CD2412F-IW -> Alarm Indicator Light Always Red

I have just purchased a DS-2CD2412F-IW camera.

 

Having following problem: Alarm indicator on the front of the camera remains always red.

 

As far as I have gone through the documentation, the alarm indicator should turn red when an alarm sensor is being triggered.

I confirm, I have disabled all alarm check boxes/settings…etc., but the indicator remains red and never goes to BLUE.

I have another DS-2CD2412F-I (Not WiFi) with identical settings, and there all is OK…if not armed, indicator stays BLUE.

Anyone to advise how to fix?

Look for a setting where you can set all the cam settings back to default. Just something to try. It helped me out before on a Dahua cam.
