Swann DVR 9124H conatantly reboots no view via VGA

Hi Guys and Gals.

 

First time posting here and unfortunately I have a problem that Swann helpdesk could not help me with so I am turning the problem to the forum in desperation.

 

I fiddled with the controls. My Bad!

I think I set the bitrate on cam1 to a bad value in main menu.

DVR reboots repeatedly and gives no VGA output. I can get a HDMI output but this disappears as the damned thing keeps rebooting.

Also, the mouse is totally inoperative so when it does boot and show in HDMI I cant access the menus ar anything.

 

Can I do a "master reset" or something that will take me back to factory settings so I can start over again? Swann want me to return the dvr however I have not kept the receipt so no proof of purchase.
