Surveillance workstation build vs buy

We are looking at retiring our older workstations that are used by a small surveillance team. When this happens we will also look to move to the newer version 5.3 of Security center by Gentec. I am looking for some recommendations on builds in terms of a custom build vs a DELL or HP offering.

 

The need is to run 15 cameras per workstation split between 2 monitors and a larger video wall. I have looked at the Security center system requirements but wanted to see what others where running and if you buy vs build and what is the normally bottle neck the CPU vs ram vs GPU.

 

Based on our current Full HD cameras it recommends going with a "high performance build". That's detailed on there web site or in the PDF file called "EN-Genetec-Security-Center-System-Requirements.pdf" (I did not want to link it and break any rules)
