Geo Ver 8 viewlog500 error message

When trying to play a video backup done with Geovision ver 8.0,

viewlog500 gives me an error message stating that the file "PassDllClient.dll" is missing.

I was sure that there was a patch for this on Geovisions homepage

but now I can't find it. Anybody seen this problem, or maybe I'm going

totaly stupid?

Hi, are you using GeoVision backup system to backup you video files?

You can try to backup you video files from ViewLog and it also can backup your video files without any problems.(viewlog \ tools \ backup)

If you still want to figure it out and just write an e-mail to their technical support. They might have some patch file to fix this problem.

Jep, in this case I used Geo backup from the start menu. I will try

viewlog \ tools \ backup to se if that makes a change. To bad the customers Geo machine is located a good drive from me, but I have to

go there again for the staffs training anyway.

I'll drop a note to Geo support and will post the result here.

Got a patch from Geovision today. Will try it early next week.
