Dahua HFW4300S locked out, no reset button! Can't get in!

I can not remember if I have the v2 or not, but in any case there is no reset button inside or outside.

 

I can't remember the password I set for the admin account, or for the 2nd account I created. The camera tells me the 888888 account does not exist if I try to log in with that.

 

I've googled and read about some telnet stuff but none of what I found got me anywhere. I don't know what to do to reset this camera. Help is definitely appreciated. Thanks.

I found myself in the same spot.... trough my dealer I received the following info regarding my Dahua HFW2XX series which has no resetbutton/switch either...

I knew it. I knew I would end up having to short two points.

 

Question is: Do I do it with the device on or off? I'm guessing on and I'll try both.
