Halloween CCTV helmet

Recommended Posts

I am wanting to make an inexpensive halloween helmet that is totally opaque on the outside. I was thinking I could use a micro camera somewhere on the outside of the helmet connected directly to 2 micro displays on mounted on the inside of the helmet. Add batteries to the mix and i would be done. I wouldn't have to worry about connecting to wifi or recording the video -- just straight video to the displays like a backup camera. I'm concerned about dealing with micro displays because they will have to be really close to my eyes, i won't be doing 3D VR stuff and i don't know how they work.

Is this a good way of doing things or perhaps someone knows of a better solution.  thanks.

You would have to walk very slowly because of the delay, but I say that over time the body gets used to it
