BoaVision Cameras - No way to turn off night lighting

About 6 months ago I bought a couple of BoaVision WiFi cameras on Amazon.

First, the bad....

They do not have any means of turning off the night lighting.  These cameras will always have either IR or Spotlights ON at ALL times.   I have a bug/spider problem and this makes it so much worse.  Why they would not have a menu option to completely turn off all night lighting is baffling.  I have a lot of security cameras and as far as I know this is the only one without a way to turn off night lighting.

Otherwise, for the first few months it was great.  But around the 6 month mark it began to lose connectivity frequently.  At the 7-8 month mark I'm having to constantly reboot the WiFi extender to get it to reconnect.  Usually it does and that lasts a random amount of time.
