new camera and chop sticks

Recommended Posts

This is a new camera installation. Everything is new. I did put the cable cord from the camera to the house (4 feet) through flex conduit to keep the cable cord and 24V power safe from the elements, but I used the flex that has metal coil and weatherpoofing material. Maybe the metal in the flex is causing the problem?

What kind of problem are you having, also what is the camera, cable, and voltage type?

This is a message from the prior thread.

Problem: Buzzing/humming sound from the DVR when I connect the BNCs to the DVR. Camera type, cable and voltage are listed in the prior message.
