IP and analog cameras on NVR

Recommended Posts

Dear All,

I would like to ask some help related to a CCTV system which contains one 16 ch generic Chinese NVR (fw V4.02.R11.000000076.), one ASONi SVR-640 video server plus IP and analog cameras together. Unfortunately I can not finish it because I have problems while trying to add streams of analog cameras (provided by the video server) on the NVR.

Mainly I am able to add only the first stream however every streams can be seen on live view of the video server. On the NVR I have to use ONVIF mode with TCP port 80 to the video server because I found it as the only way to access the first stream. Unfortunately the NVR does not have the possibility to use RTSP URIs to connect. I tried to check the video server with the ONVIF Device Manager and this tool can also see only the first stream. The only possilbility to tell the NVR to connect to another stream is a field which contains '1' as default. If I change it to anything else than the connection to the stream will be lost.

Mainly how can I access another 3 srteams of this video server from the NVR?

Thank you!

Good day

If memory serves I don't think it is possible, in theory the video server only has one ip address and the Nvr will only see it as 1 camera, what we have used in the pass is 1ch video server per camera, that has worked for us , We haven't used video servers in a while don't know if anything has change

Hope this helps, please let me know if you got it to work

regards
