    Hikvision 1080p VGA problem

You VGA cable sucks. If the VGA monitor supports 1920x1080, bring it near the DVR, and try with a short VGA cable.

    Hikvision web plugin

*ONLY* Internet Explorer, not Edge. Just connect to any Hikvision DVR, and it will download the needed IE plugin.

On Windows you can only use Internet Explorer.

I think my Dahua IP camera is bricked

The newer "el cheapo" Dahua Consumer cameras do not have web interface. So no, it is not bricked, that's the way it is supposed to be.

    Dahua Firmware update problem

And your DVR is exactly which one...?
  8. Make sure you are using Internet Explorer, and NOT Edge. Look for IE icon, right click, run as administrator. Choose folder where you want the recording downloaded.

    Telephone line to Cat5 ethernet?

Look again, your DVR has RJ45, not RJ11.

    Hikvision 1080p DVR problems

Your cameras are being detected as PAL (CVBS) by the DVR. Since they are 4in1 cameras, you have to change them to TVI.

    IR LEDs blow quickly

Yes they are, since you said "It seems that the LEds in these cameras do not last very long". They are crap like the IR boards you buy. If you want them to last longer, do not buy crap.

Hikvision - the channel does not exist

DS-7208HQHI-F1 and DS-7208HQHI-K1 support 8 BNC channels, plus 2 IP cameras. It surely sounds that for whatever reason like it is trying to go to/show channels 9-10, which they do not have any IP camera configured. But that should NOT be happening by default. Is the end user using the mouse wheel to scroll through channels? Or is the unit showing that error without anyone touching the unit?

    CAM that facing lights

What you are looking for is WDR. All current Hikvision models will have BLC. I would say that all will also have DWDR (digital WDR), but you are interested on true WDR.

    baluns

If you want it well done and clean: Cat6, video+power baluns If you are cheap: Cat5, video only baluns, and power connectors. If you are even cheaper: Cat5, video only baluns, and power connectors, and you might even want to try using a single Cat5 for 2 or even 3 cameras.

    Floureon Q3 Smart Camera setup

Connect your mobile to your 2.4G wifi, since your mobile will configure the camera with the wifi it is currently connected to.
  16. Your DVR restarts, so it obviously does so.

    email alerts fail.

Gmail and Yahoo are the issue. If you want to send emails with a free provider, you will have to keep trying/looking around, they won't make it easy for you, since they do not care about those who want to send emails using SMTP. Port forwarding has nothing to do with it.

The guy that works here has your answer, you want his address?

    EZVIZ Mini Trooper already registered-

You need to contact whoever sold it to you. Only the original seller should reset it/delete it from someone else's P2P account. (like, we only reset devices with serial numbers that have been sold by us)

i have a problem with DVR networking

Smart PSS works with Dahua units. MJK CMS software works with MJK units.

    What CMS platform?

i have a problem with DVR networking

SmartPSS is only for Dahua devices. You will not be able to add a MJK unit, no matter how hard you try.
  24. Probably a customized firmware from the reseller. Ask them what app you have to use. Some resellers use different P2P servers, so their devices will not work with DMSS/SmartPSS which both use Dahua's P2P servers. When that is the case, it does work from inside the wifi/LAN, but not when you are outside ther network. You need to use their own app, or just flash Dahua's firmware so it will use Dahua's P2P servers. You can usually find out if it is a personalized firmware by checking the firmware version. Instead of being something like: 2.420.0000 It will be like: 2.420.XX00 (where XX are two letters instead of numbers, since the dealer name is DiyaKala it might be 2.420.DK00)
