By a process of elimination it would seem the HD has failed. Great! Not even a year old, it's a Western Digital and the supplier only gives a 3 month warranty! Can anyone recommend a 250Gb replacement please.

About a year ago I fitted 1 cctv camera outside my house connected to a DVR and it has worked perfectly well until recently. The DVR has stopped recording and there is no picture on the tv. I have tried formatting the HD and restoring factory settings but all that has achieved is wiping the HD clean. I have power to the camera and I can get a picture on the tv by bypassing the DVR. I have tried forcing the DVR to record and, although it indicates on screen that it is recording and the DVR fan whirs around, it is not recording as there are no events to view. I suspect a HD failure, does anyone know better?
