Hey All, I'm brand new to this forum and to the world of CCTV. I'm looking at installing a CCTV system in my house with multiple cameras. I've looked at the Lorex system but I'd like to find a homebrew/open source solution that might be more cost effective and fun to geek out with. I would like to be able to use a touch screen LCD if this is realistic. What are my options? I look forward to seeing the replies and getting underway!
