Hi, Thank You guys for any help you may offer in advance. Well, I figured I would take on a project at work, installing a CCTV system. Ok, no problem I am technical enough to do this I build PC's, Home theater and so on. Oops hmm maybe not. I was Ok until I came across the whole PTZ end of it. Well this is what I am working with. Pelco Spectra III PTZ ( Only 1) Pelco Keyboard KB300 (Only 1) Digital Srite 2 Plus w/ 600 GB Now all the docs I come across mention 6700 mode or Direct Mode. I would like to install the camera and the keyboard to the DVR. My guess is that i need to run the RJ45 from the back of the KB to the PTZ is there a distance issue with this. Then run a twisted pair from the serial port on the DVR to the PTZ camera. Do I need anything else ie. controlers, switchers or anything of that soort. Thank You for you help !!
