  1. Played around with the microsoft system tool,, handy,, tiny bump in processing level every now and than when card records, but nothing stood out as strange. Anything particular to look for? Put a meeter on the camera output two were at 150 mv and one was at 300 mv but rock solid. (I do not have a scope) Going to check the pc power supply next, (fancy Enermax , should be ok) When only one camera is used It seems that the screen has fewer flashes, and therefore fewer false recordings, and when all three are used forget it! Random recordings left and right. Moved one camera power cable to plug into the same outlet the PC uses but no difference, but will re run the other two to the same outlet. But if it was a grounding problem, would the problem show up when recording also, and not only when monitoring? Screen saver and power management is disabled. One other thing I forgot to mention, this also crashes with an error: Run-time error 2147417848(80010108) Automation error The object invoked has disconnected from its clients Screen flashing and triggering record started first thain several weeks later the run-time error started to appear, reloaded the card software and win. XP did not help. Anny thoughts? Thanks
  2. Been setting up a system on my house, and I have a screen flicker problem that keeps setting off the motion detection that I can not resolve. The card is a (DIGIVUE EDV-XV425) witch from what I have been reading on this forum might be the problem. When in 'record on motion detection' mode, there is a flash as if you jacked the brightness up and down real fast, that will appear randomly on all 3 cameras, witch triggers record mode. This will happen several times a minute or it might go away for a while (1\2 hour), but in a day if left on there will be over 100 recordings. This did not happen when I first installed the card. Reloaded Windows XP with nothing else but the cctv software and it still flickers. If I tell the cameras to record, (no motion detection) the flashing is not there, ever. Is it time to throw the towel in and get a different card? Thanks for any help
