Many thanks for your reply, it is most appreciated. The unit I have is a DS2. It has a silver front but has a black section in the middle with the silver camera buttons on and a cd/dvd writer under the lower flap. I cannot access the unit as it is password protected. Please could you help on this one. I have hyper terminal on my laptop. How do I reset the password? I look forward to your reply. Thanks Sean

Does anybody know how to reset the password and replace the hard drive on on the new Dedicated Micros DS2 DVR's. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance. Regards Sean
