I'm obviously new to the forums, but not new to CCTV. I worked for a private security company who had contracts with SunTrust and Wachovia banks in the SE United States, and from time to time we installed systems at luxury hotels. It was a small company, one owner and two installers, one installer being myself. I worked with them for approximately two-years before deciding to start my own company, and that's where I'm at now.
I'm young, ambitious and intelligent. I'm an ex-film student who's niche at school was surveillance. I was always interested in more covert CCTV work, but only had the opportunity to work with covert equipment two or three installs. I'm wise to most all CCTV cameras, DVR's, NVR's, Access Control and most other LV systems. I used to replace the old VCR/Switcher/9" tube monitor units at the banks, and upgrade to DVR's and multiple LCD monitors.
I'm here to build relationships, learn and gain all the knowledge I can from industry professionals and amateur CCTV hobbyists alike.
Anyway, it's nice to be here. I look forward to getting to know some of you guys. With any luck, I can get this company off the ground and profitable before this time next year!
