  1. I am from the netherlands and we use normaly no IR assisted camera's because of there lack to see in rain and fog and poor image quality.

The only use we have is with a 1200nm narrow focused laserbeam searchlight to look inside a darkglassed car or house

We normaly just ad more lights, or buy good camera's with low lux optios.

When thats not possible or not wanted we use an (extra) thermal imaging camera.(2nd camera option).

The price for the mentioned IR camera is much to high.

In the usa you have for $ 3325 a good B/W outdoor thermal imaging camera.

No ilumination needed, sees in rain and fog and gives no blur.

    See http://thermalvideo.com/thermal-imaging-systems/flir_vsr-6.htm

Well Flir is very good. I saw it on one fair in China. It has advantages in some area. But it is not suitable for everywhere.

  2. The cameras in the pic are finalized. There are no Illuminators.

    Let me guess

Is this "Terahertz " Camera ?

I know I would love to get a look under the hood of one of these cams. I'm guessing the sound of silence to my last question would indicate there's some older borrowed and probably obsolete technology involved here. I'm still curious of who makes the CCD and what model number it is so we can get concrete evidence of what's happening here. If it manufactured by a reputable company it shouldn't be that hard to get a copy of the white paper. Oh well.

    Out for a full day.

I have told every thing I knew. Due to the reason to protect our business secret not all the technologies are allowed to tell out. .As you are clever enough I think maybe in 1 year or 2 you will get it from the US market and maybe you can check yourself.

I would like to talk more about the effect than the tech. Maybe you can show me some videos that have same effects?

  3. Rory. The cameras in the pic are finalized. There are no Illuminators.

The 3 smaller white ones are the IR illuminator halogen bulbs correct?

a camera needs some light to see.

also .... in the videos on your blog there is a light source coming from the camera area, whether its Infrared or other.

3 white ones are indoor types.

There is an application in the coal mine. To prevent theft underground they installed our cameras. Because the camera is suitable for hidden use.

    1. normal IR camera can be seen in the very dark (when a thief looks in the dark he will find there is something red in the direction of IR camera, and he will try to not walk into that place.)

    2. in the very dark normal IR cameras will have noise.

I got a new video in hand, a rough test made by DVR , the image is not good enough, and I don't know if you want to see it.

Bone: the s/n ratio is 52

  4.

Thanks, I still dont understand, are these simply Day Night cameras, with additional IR Illuminators as shown in the photo above? 930nm above is invisible to the human eye, I have used it before. To be honest I prefer something I can see. Also, they should advertise the distance in feet for the north american market.

Rory. The cameras in the pic are finalized. There are no Illuminators.

  5. I don't know how does this topic goes far from the way.

First I just post some videos , then someone citicize, at last the topic turn to country fairs.

    1. Please stop political things, you love your country, I love my country. If you are kind enough please don't coene other with your Ideology. Put countries aside, and leave the cameras here.

    2. As you have seen the video. Just say if the video effect is GOOD or NOT. And you can post some videos you made. Tell the difference.

    3. I believe one day you can see this camera in US and other country.

    Regards,

  6. survtech:

It is amazing that you put so much time on answering my words.

I am not good at arguing. OK , for the time you used, you win. I do not want make this topic a politic post.

English is not my native language, and if my words offense you I apologize.

If you just judge from the newspaper you are not clever enough. Judge by the truth, not the words from others mouth.

  7.

    In America .......

Tailbone215, the first paragraph is aggressive.

Do not blame China for what several people done. Your country's newpaper reports the news your govenment love to use for their political purpose, so does my country's newpaper. Throw them away. Want to know whole China you'd better come and see by your eyes. The same is the camera.

Just say if the video clip quality is GOOD or NOT, please give a fair comment.

You should not judge one thing with colorful glasses. Yes some people did bad things in China, but does every one in US do things right? If so, why there are still jails in US?

I don't want to add policy fact in this forum, I hope you won't too.

I found your first post, and you were not asking for the light wavelength, you just complained about the poor quality of some cameras from China. You just mean you don't trust Chinese products, do you?

But don't link mine to them. Mine is the premium one ,not the one you mentioned. Can a camera sold to military not qualified (the camera is invented by an mili-institute)?

The peak wavelength the sensor of the type in the video is 1000nm. I repeat again it is different from IR camera. use IR camera you can expose, but this will not.

When time is allowed I will update new clips.

  8. I can't believe there is such kind of inpolite words on this forum. Are you well educated, Tailbone215?

I will not comment on you.

As for my education, I'm functionally illiterate and use my toes like an abacus. You?

As for your dilemma. You come in here making wildass claims without giving any technical details to the point of being evasive. Until I see pics of the camera and something more concrete technically I will label this as SPAM. You're not pioneering something in quantum physics so there's no need for the secrecy, spill the beans.

In China educated doesn't only mean possess some tech skills, it also mean gain a good manner, moral. Maybe you are proud of your engineer identification, but that does not mean you are respected.

How can we respect a man when many dirty words comes with him like"ass" and so on?

That is the difference. In west if you say educated, you just mean he get a bachlor degree or so.But in China, educated means more.

Don't use many words that shame your ancestors.

As to the axiom, OK. If you want, I explain a little.

The black absorb all the lights and white reflect all the lights. When there is no visible light, still the unvisible light is there. This axiom of "black and white" leads to the invetion of the camera, OK?

The camera is a combination of active and passive one.

  9. looks like your average Day Night IR camera.

Are the specs posted anywhere, photos of the camera?

Why would someone buy this instead of say Extreme CCTV cameras? Is it cheaper? Any warranty? Color video/image examples of when it switches over to BW/IR? thanks.

    Rory:

    1. You can send me your email and I will send you catalogue. There are civil grade and military grade. But I can only sell civil grade.

    2. These cameras are not cheap, they are designed for essential places such as museum, bank, government, oil filed ect. but I can say the same video quality we are cheaper. In China the buyers(engineer company) normally borrow one and show the effect to the final users and make them satisfied.

Of course these cameras are not the ones you can buy for a hundred of USDs. You can use my camera on essential places and use cheaper ones at the places not important.

  10. I think there is a light source. when you look at the videa you see the camera react on the reflection of something on the dress of the girl. The image get overloaded and the camera has to re adjust. At my work we operate a lot of different systems IR and laser an light amplifiers and for me it looks like an simple IR lamp. I would like te see the girls walking towards the camera and so i can see wat happens to there eyes. Thats how you can see if its IR

    Thank you for your request.

I now post other 2 clips of the video. You can judge yourself.

  11. so what is zero light technology?

    remains mystery to me

It's smelling more and more like spam to me. Think about it, if its light you have a limited spectrum of UV to IR and everything visible in between. Well, you have x-ray and RF, but I don't think a cheapy camera/reciever will be using that technology nor will it be allowed for sale without government certification. So, logically, there's an emitter of light somewhere that he's not revealing to us. I for one would never put any credibility in any published specifications by these Asian electronics makers. We have already seen all the crap cameras flooding out shores that have wild-ass claims and specs.

On a good note, he did make his nickle on the click-through as I did visit his site.

I can't believe there is such kind of inpolite words on this forum. Are you well educated, Tailbone215?

I will not comment on you.

  12.

Then how do u expect us to spend few $1000's when we have

no clue what are u selling ?

Alex, I don't wanna argue. But when you drink coca cola, do you need them to tell you the dispensing? You just want the taste, don't you? I think only 4 people in the world know the dispensing.

The same is the camera, you connect the camera and get the clear image, that is the end user want. You are a engineer and you want to know the princicle, yes, but the end user don't, they just want to check if the image satisfies them.

    Wang Lei

  13. Hi friends, I need your advices.

I am now pushing a premium high tech day/night camera to the world. The camera is invented by an institute using a special tech.It get better image than normal IR cameras ranging from 10meter to 400meter.

But the problem is that the price is much higher than normal IR cameras, 1k to 10k retail prices. So you see, normal end users won't use so expensive cameras.

So which fields in the world would this camera be used for? Any suggestions are welcomed.
