  1. Hi there i have a NV 6480 Express PC based and two EH1004H Nano embedded systems. When using the realtime remote playback functionon on the EH systems i'm not able to view video in the fast forward (2x and more) mode. The video just plays at the same speed (close to 1x) . When using same internet connection and the NV System everthing works as it should. Has anyone experienced this problem as well? What can i do to enable faster playback (frames can be skipped) in the remote viewing of the EH systems? Best regards, harry

Grab video stream from Aver DVR

Thanks tom, the java viewer is not working for me, since it displays only a link to a .jar file that cannot be easily run. However, the handyviewer does the job (at least for my NV system). By connecting to "your-ip.com:5550/mobile/channelXX.jpg" a snapshot image is generated and can be integrated into other websites... Hope this also works for my EH1004 System, but can only try tomorrow. Thanks for your help! Harry

Grab video stream from Aver DVR

Hey, anyone succeeded in getting this working? i.e. is there a solution to grab camera images through java or any other web application and save them as .jpg ? I would like to set up a webpage featuring single images from an aver dvr and update it from time to time (simple webcam). Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, harry

IP cam and analog audio ?

Thanks guys for the answer. Currently i'm not able to check that because i have only remote access to the dvr. In the 7.7 software the audio feature (in recording setup) is grayed out when setting this channel to IP-Cam. How can one setup and configure audio recording in this configuration? Thanks again!

IP cam and analog audio ?

I was wondering if it is possible to use an IP-Cam together with an analog audio input on a NV6240 Card. The IP Cam's built in audio is not supported by the current software release, so i want to connect an external microphone on the same channel as the IP Cam. Has anyone tried this yet? Thanks in advance for any help!

    TV-out on NV6240E

no, of course tv-out is connected to RCA-in of my TV and not to RF-in. I just see a noise pattern on TV , but when changing configuration in avermedia's dvr system setup i can see at least a change of this well-known noise pattern on Tv. Any other suggestions?

    TV-out on NV6240E

Ok, after sending back the card to my local dealer (Romania), he told me that everything is working fine! As he said, TV-out was checked and no problems could be detected. Now, after plugging back the card into my computer, tv-out doesn't work Has anyone had similar problems with this card???? Maybe there is a conflict with other hardware in my system, but avermedia DVR works like a charm (exept for Tv-out of course). Any help is appreciated
