  1. I don't know whether they already have their hardware
  2. Hi, Steven, to be sure, there are many differences between the software of Netvision and of Skyvision, such as the features, the GUI... Btw, what Hikvision is providing with their boards currently is Netvision software, but not Skyvision!
  3. Actually, Hikvision's hardware cards are the most advanced in China currently, which take up around 70% of the local market. Therefore, Netvision has been striving to be one of the best software provider for Hikvision cards.
  4. Steven, I couldn't agree with you anymore! I hope Netvision DVR software will be the one you are expecting!

    Anyone recognize this beast?

Hello, every one here Wachhund, I will appreciate it if you could let me know the issues you encountered when using Netvision cards!
  10. I wonder whether 4CIF is your desired resolution. To be frank, there will be relatively more strict requirements on the PC configuration if you adopt stackable hardware compression card. Anyway, the resolution will meet your needs
  11. Actually, you could contact your dealer, asking him to return the damaged card to the manufacturer. To my knowledge, only the manufacturer is able to replace the ICs
  12. Hi! I think the first thing you have to do is to decide on the DVR boards, hardware compression boards or software compression ones? Then how many cameras you will set up? Besides, I believe many ppl in this forum could help you with your setting
  13. Can you reveal how to get the boards at very good price?

    32 camera DVR

You want to adopt soft-compressed or hard-compressed DVR boards? This is the first question. Actually, you have many options, since 32ch is not the utmost
  18. Hello, Geoffrey. To my knowledge, nowadays, it is not easy to find any DVR cards with a video-out port. Actually, the DVR cards could not output video directly. The video can only be viewed in local host or through internet remotely.
  19. Please try it again. The demo should work well currently

    Custom web access to DVR

Ability to view live and archived data from another website ---You could visit the DVR via IE, and I think this function is available with most DVR software.
  21. Actually, the compression varies between PAL and NTSC. Anyway, 30f/s(NTSC) could meet your needs.
  22. Both can do the same but 4016HC comparing to 4016HCSI can additionally record live with 2CIF and DCIF and record with approximately half live speed in 4CIF. 4016HCSI can record live max in CIF or below resolutions. You cant mix them but you can put up to 4 of the same cards in single DVR. you can mix them no problem I agree with ak357 totally 4016HC: 16 Ch Video + 16 Ch Audio input, H.264 hardware compression Preview: 4CIF Compression:4CIF,DCIF,CIF,QCIF. Support double encoding 4016HCSI: 16 Ch Video + 16 Ch Audio input, H.264 hardware compression Preview: 4CIF Compression: CIF These two boards is stackable to make 64ch at most. Anyway, 4016HC will cost you more than 4016HCSI due to the better comperession
  23. With one 32ch board, I am afraid the image quality will not be very good. So you'd better choose 2*16ch. BTW, why don't you take the hard compressed DVR boards into account?
  24. I am not familiar with the card you are using. But normally, you could find the settings to set "overwrite automatically when all the HDDs are full". Btw, the earliest data will be overwritten first.
  25. Maybe you could try the H.264 hard compressed DVR card, which takes less CPU and records with realtime highspeed.
